The Tea Dragon Series Books

Publication order is the clearest route: start with The Tea Dragon Society, continue with The Tea Dragon Festival, and finish with The Tea Dragon Tapestry. Tapestry is the series conclusion and returns to Greta and Minette after the first book.

Festival is an earlier companion story about another village and younger versions of familiar characters. It can stand on its own, but reading it second lets its history add context before the conclusion.

This is an especially gentle fantasy series. Its harder emotions involve grief, lost time, uncertain memories, changing traditions, and worry about finding one's path—not combat or frightening villains.

The cast naturally includes queer couples, characters of color, and a wheelchair user. Those identities are part of the welcoming community rather than problems to be solved. The spacious full-color panels can also make the books an inviting introduction to graphic novels.
