How to Read the Land of Elyon Books
For a first read, follow the four numbered novels from The Dark Hills Divide through Stargazer. They form Alexa's continuous story and should not be rearranged by publication gaps.
Into the Mist is the official prequel. It was published between books 3 and 4, and works best after The Tenth City because it explains Elyon's past without interrupting Alexa's opening journey.
