In order from To Sir Phillip, With Love to When He Was Wicked.
Eight adult historical romances, each following a different Bridgerton sibling through courtship, family interference, and a happily-ever-after in Regency England.

Read the eight novels in publication order, from The Duke and I through On the Way to the Wedding. Each book completes one sibling's central romance, so the stories are more independent than a fantasy saga, but marriages, younger siblings, and family events carry forward.
Read The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After after all eight novels. It collects a second epilogue for each couple plus the Violet Bridgerton novella, so reading it early would reveal later relationships and family developments.

These are adult romances with on-page sexual content, pregnancy, childbirth, infertility and miscarriage references, grief, sexism, coercive social expectations, and emotionally difficult family histories. The Duke and I includes a widely discussed scene of reproductive and sexual coercion; other books address suicide and depression, childhood abuse, loss of a spouse, and dangerous childbirth. The television adaptation changes characters and plot details, so it is not a guide to the books' content or order.
