“William Joyce's absolutely gorgeous illustrations absolutely make this tale of the fight between good and evil in one dying garden between the doodlebugs and the leaf men they summon for help and the Spider Queen and her ant minions. The story is a little odd and requires the use of one's very active imagination, but is at the sample time beautifully soothing.”
