There are so many whiz-bang great pets you can get! How about an enormous brown bear? Or a tentacled beast from the sea? Or even a humongous smoky dragon that glows? But as this small boy learns, even the smallest of pets can be surprisingly fun too!
Born in Norfolk, England, but raised in Wales, THOMAS TAYLOR studied illustration at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. His first commissioned work was the cover illustration for the British edition of a then-unknown book called Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J. K. Rowling. Since then Thomas has written and illustrated many children’s picture books. He lives in Normandy, France, where he shamelessly steals story ideas from his two little boys, Max and Benjy.
Adrian Reynolds first became interested in children’s books while working in a children’s bookstore. He has illustrated several books and is the author and illustrator of the Pete and Polo books from Orchard Books. He lives in Cambridge, England.
