She tries her hand at herding cattle, but gets lost in the tall grass. She¿s sure she is brave enough to be a trail horse, but the creek is too deep for her to cross. She¿d like to be a show horse, but she can¿t quite master the fancy footwork. The big horses try and cheer her up by reminding her of good reasons to be small, but it doesn¿t help. By the end of the book, Trixie discovers that the does indeed have a very important job to do, and being small helps her do it even better.
