This book is fun, light-hearted, and just a little bit silly. I love the illustrations and think it's a great premise: boys can be tough and strong and also experience and show emotion. It's a very gendered book--it's definitely about and for boys--and I only have daughters, so I feel like there's just not really anything here for them, but I can see this book being positive for parents of boys.
