The Creatives Behind the Book
Holly Thompson was raised in New England and earned a MA in English from New York University’s Creative Writing Program. Longtime resident of Japan, she teaches creative writing at Yokohama City University, U.C. Berkeley Extension, and Boston’s Grub Street Creative Writing Center.
Jen Betton is a freelance illustrator and college art instructor. She holds a BFA in painting from the University of Central Florida and an MFA in Illustration from Syracuse University.
