My four-year-old daughter loves pretending to be a superhero, but there aren't many superhero books that feature girls as anything other than love interests, objects to be rescued, or weirdly sexy B-list sidekicks. This book is the exception! It includes fun, cute, healthy illustrations of all of the female superheroes from Marvel's recent movies alongside little blurbs describing their stories. The writing is just okay, but I don't mind reading it to my preschooler. I'm not exaggerating when I say that we desperately need this book and more like it.
