At the end of a happy day, a little boy asks, “Why does the day have to end?” His mother points to the pale sliver of moon high in the darkening sky and tells him that the day must end so the night can begin. “But where does the sun go when the day ends?” the little boy asks. “The day doesn’t end, “ explains his mother, “it begins somewhere else.”
