Amy Novesky is an award-winning children’s book author and editor. Her picture books include CLOTH LULLABY, THE WOVEN LIFE OF LOUISE BOURGEOIS; ME, FRIDA; GEORGIA IN HAWAII; IMOGEN, THE MOTHER OF MODERNISM AND THREE BOYS; MISTER AND LADY DAY; ELEPHANT PRINCE; LOVE IS A TUTU and LOVE IS A TRUCK. Two new picture books will follow in 2019 from Disney Press and MoMA, and in 2020, Abrams will publish GIRL ON A MOTORCYCLE, about author and adventurer, Anne-France Dautheville, illustrated by Julie Morstad. Amy is represented by Caryn Wiseman of the Andrea Brown Literary Agency. Amy’s career making children’s books began at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. Twenty years and hundreds of books later, Amy works with authors, agents, packagers, publishers, bookstores, toy companies and film studios, including Disney Press, Ever After Studio, Harcourt (MARY POPPINS), Henry Holt, MoMA, National Geographic Kids (NATUMI TAKES THE LEAD), Paper Hat Press, Pixar (THREE LITTLE WORDS), and Princeton Architectural Press.
