In a funny, unlikely friendship story with a kid-pleasing twist, an artistic moose and a bean-loving bear find that their day takes a sudden, noisy turn when they unexpectedly meet by the lake. One lovely morning in the forest, Moose is preparing for a perfect day of landscape painting on the lakeshore. On the other side of the valley, Bear is eating his breakfast of beans, making his favorite bean sandwiches for lunch, and getting ready for a pleasant day of fishing. Later, a comedy of errors leads to their encountering each other, resulting in a standoff. Can Bear and Moose clear (or perhaps cloud) the air? Visual humor and a final scatological statement are sure to have readers joining the protagonists in gales of laughter.
