The Lost Clan
Catclaw and his friends search for the missing Starkin clan in this second book in the sweeping Moon Realm fantasy middle grade series that's "sure to thrill" (Kirkus Reviews, on The Traitor Moth), in which courage can come with the smallest of wings and hope can shape the fate of a kingdom. After narrowly saving the Moon Realm, Catclaw is beginning to grow into his long-dormant Dreamkin powers, but his new visions are darker than ever. When a catastrophic storm tears through the realm and an ancient prophecy surfaces, Catclaw's visions hint at the missing Starkin clan being the key to preventing an even greater disaster. Catclaw sets off into the perilous wilds with his friends Frog and the stoic Gravekin, Lake, to find the missing Starkins and conquer the three trials outlined in the prophecy. But their journey is far from easy, and they are soon caught within a mysterious hidden refuge haunted by shadow spirits with unclear motives. With the future of the realm resting on his shoulders, Catclaw must confront the terrifying possibility that these trials are undefeatable and that his visions might not be warnings...they might be destiny.
