Our reading team picks each month's books, with input from librarians, parents and kids, looking for strong stories, beautiful illustrations and books children ask for again and again.
Hidden gems
Most of us know a small set of children's books: the classics we grew up with and a few best sellers. Bookroo sends books beyond that set. Board and Picture boxes are all hidden gems; Junior Chapter and Middle Grade boxes pair one hidden gem with one admired favorite.
Each box comes with a flyer whose QR code leads to the books' pages on Bookroo. The chapter book pages carry notes and talking points, so you know what your child is reading.
Everyone in a club gets the same books
You choose the club, and we choose the books. Every subscriber in a club gets the same books that month, so we can't swap a title or tailor a box to one child. We pick books that boys and girls both enjoy, whoever the main character is.
