JP is playing on the playground. But when his twin cousins want to take over the playhouse he’s made into a spaceship, JP gets angry. He soon realizes it’s more fun to befriend the enemy and laugh together than to play alone. Ana Crespo is originally from Brazil. Before becoming a children’s book author, Ana worked as an academic advisor and as a translator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s in education. Ana lives in Colorado with her husband, two kids, and a variety of wildlife.
Erica Sirotich is an illustrator residing in St. Petersburg, Florida. She likes animals, coffee, books, and adding to her collections of rocks, stamps, and Japanese kokeshi. Her dog Russell Redfur keeps her company while she draws all day. Erica’s authorial debut, the picture book Found Dogs, was published by Dial Books for Young Readers in July, 2017. She has also illustrated picture books for publishers like Little Simon, Running Press, and Albert Whitman & Co, and regularly illustrates for kids’ publications like Highlights, Ranger Rick Jr, Boy’s Life, and more.
