I love Les Miserables, I love French, and I love giving my kids opportunities to be exposed to new things, include new languages, so this book is a win all around for me. I like that I can read it and tell my pre-schooler bits of the story, or have her repeat the French words and phrases after me, or focus on the pictures, or find some other way of reading it. I also love books that serve as a jumping-off point for learning other things, and in that regard, this book has served us well.
