GREG PAPROCKI works full-time as an illustrator and book designer. In addition to illustrating several Curious George books, he’s provided illustrations for a number of books for Gibbs Smith, including S Is for Santa, A Is for Atom, B Is for Boo, and The Big Book of Superheroes. He began his career as an advertising art director after studying fine art and graphic design at the University of Nebraska. Residence: Lincoln, Nebraska.

HAILY and KEVIN MEYERS are the husband and wife team behind the dazzling baby product line—Lucy Darling (lucydarling.com). Haily’s design work can be seen on their unique monthly sticker designs, nursery art prints, baby memory books, and multiple baby products. Their work has been featured in Pregnancy and Newborn magazine, Red Tricycle, Babiekins Magazine, Cool Mom Picks, KIWI magazine, Mollie Makes magazine, Fresh Style magazine, Mom Trends, HGTV Canada, and specialty baby shops worldwide. They live in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Kate Coombs writes poetry, middle grade fiction, and picture books for children. She currently teaches college English classes and is studying for a master’s degree to be a Reading Specialist. Kate has taught every grade from kindergarten to college. She is a lifelong bookworm and wrote her first poems in grade school, along with a Nancy Drew knock-off and short plays starring herself. Kate’s poetry collection Water Sings Blue won the Lee Bennett Hopkins Poetry Award in 2012. She has written poetry about the ocean, mindfulness, and monster kids, as well as picture books ranging from fairy tale retellings to a kid who takes on the Tooth Fairy and middle grade fantasy books that play with fairy tale tropes. Kate is a great believer in revision, fairy tales, Christmas songs, and chocolate, not necessarily in that order. Her favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Diana Wynne Jones, and poet Billy Collins. Kate plants a little garden on her balcony each summer, well out of reach of the deer. She has taken hundreds of pictures of clouds and belongs to the Cloud Appreciation Society.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Washington. She has 20 years’ experience as a book editor, including at Gibbs Smith and Quirk Books. She currently works as a consulting editor for Sounds True, developing their children’s line. Jennifer works some evenings at her local independent bookstore, The King’s English, to feed her book habit. She lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, Bill Dunford, who is also a writer.

Alli Arnold graduated from Parsons School of Design and has illustrated for clients such as Travel & Leisure Magazine, the New York Times, Barneys New York, Kate Spade, Tiffany & Co., and Bergdorf Goodman. Alli happily resides in the Old Northeast of St. Petersburg, Florida, but often travels back to her beloved New York City to recharge her batteries.

Alison’s portfolio reflects her love of drawing, pattern and color. Her work includes everything from logos to packaging and product design. She is also the illustrator of the bestselling BabyLit board books which introduce children to classic literature.

Corey Egbert is a freelance illustrator and the author of If Dinosaurs Could Talk for Me. He grew up in California and Utah, received his BA from Southern Virginia University, and is currently pursuing an MFA in illustration from Syracuse University in New York. He lives with his wife, son, and two cats.

Carme Lemniscates is an award-winning author, illustrator and designer of children’s books who sees each book project as a complete undertaking in which the text, illustrations and graphic design converge with the same spirit from beginning to end. In 2010, after more than fifteen years of illustrating and designing children’s books for publishers, she founded Lemniscates Studio in her home city of Barcelona to create her own children’s book projects, which she both writes and illustrates.
