How to Read the Twilight Books

Read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn in order for Bella's complete story.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is a companion novella best read after Eclipse. Midnight Sun retells Twilight from Edward's point of view, while Life and Death reimagines the first book with gender-swapped characters; both work best after Twilight. The Official Illustrated Guide is an optional reference rather than another novel.
