Steve Smallman has been illustrating children’s books for 20 years and started writing for children 10 years ago. He is the winner of the 2009 Sheffield Children’s Book award for his book Smelly Peter: The Great Pea Eater.

Jenni Desmond is the illustrator of On the Night of the Shooting Star by Amy Hest and the author-illustrator of The Blue Whale and The Polar Bear, among other books for young readers. Jenni Desmond lives and works in London.
Sean Julian enjoyed art from an early age, focusing on potato printmaking and creating plasticine dinosaurs. He now focuses his talents on children’s book illustrations, where he can follow his passion to draw hairy gorillas, bears, and dinosaurs. His pictures delight and entertain. Joelle Dreidemy makes art for books, magazines, greeting cards, and more. She also sings and plays guitar in a rock band.
Award winning children’s author and illustrator Tim Warnes’ first book was published in 1995. Since then, he’s worked on more than eighty books, which have been translated into twenty or more different languages. Tim is married to fellow illustrator, Jane Chapman. They have two boys and work from home in the countryside in southwest England.
