How to Read Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior
Start with Cube Kid's eight illustrated novels and read from Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior through Hour of Enchantment. Book 9 is announced but not yet published, so it is not included here.
The six full-color graphic novels adapt Runt's adventures rather than continuing after book eight. A Noob's Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior is a shorter, highly visual retelling for younger readers. Tales of an 8-Bit Kitten is a two-book companion story set in the same world.

These are unofficial Minecraft-inspired stories, not game manuals. They use familiar block-world creatures, crafting, weapons, portals, and game mechanics in a continuing fantasy adventure about friendship and becoming brave.
Expect frequent battles with zombies and monsters, swords, explosions, kidnappings, dark portals, scary villains, cliff-hangers, and occasional references to a character's death or sacrifice. The pixelated, humorous presentation keeps the violence non-graphic, but the stakes rise in later volumes.
