How to Read the Questioneers Books

This page shows the 15 core books in publication order: seven picture books, seven illustrated chapter-book mysteries, and the first preschool concept book. Younger readers can begin with any picture book; children ready for longer stories should read the numbered chapter books from Rosie Revere and the Raucous Riveters through Lila Greer and the Shrieking Shadow.

ABRAMS also publishes separate Why Files nonfiction readers, Big Project activity books, and Ada Twist, Scientist books based on the Netflix show. Those companion lines expand the same world but are not needed to follow the core books here.

For parents

What Parents Should Know

The books celebrate curiosity, persistence, and collaboration without pretending that every experiment or plan works the first time. They also make room for shyness, dyslexia, worry, and different ways of contributing.

The chapter mysteries include manageable suspense—missing pets, a break-in, storms, or a spooky-looking clue—but the friends reason through the problem and adults remain available. There is no graphic violence.
