My first time reading this I wasn't a big fan, but there was still something lying just beneath the surface that made me want to reread it . . . and each time I've read it I've liked it better. The picture book format with chapters designated inside is a great way to build a new reader's confidence (as are the simple words) and the shape play is clever.
