New York Times bestselling author Lemony Snicket sheds light on the way bad moods come and go. Once there was a bad mood and a stick. The stick appeared when a tree dropped it.Where did the bad mood come from?Who picked up the stick? And where is the bad mood off to now?You never know what is going to happen.
I really love Lemony Snicket and was excited for this book, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. It's all about how a bad mood travels and influences others, but I the story wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be. As a note, a man gets his pants all muddy, goes to the dry cleaners, takes them off and is in his underwear to get the pants cleaned. The dry cleaning woman looked at him in his underwear and fell in love with him and they eventually get married. Random and a tad funny, but I thought that was a little inappropriate for a children's book.
Lemony Snicket is the author of the thirteen volumes in A Series of Unfortunate Events; several picture books, including The Dark; and the books collectively titled All the Wrong Questions.
