This book is made up of short stories. The illustrations are simple and there are pages with no words to allow the reader to imagine their own parts of the story.

This book is so sweet. The illustrations are sweet. The stories are sweet. Everything about it is sweet and gentle and kind of perfect. I love Philip Stead's illustrations and the amazing range of emotion his little animals have. I own this book and love reading it with my kids when we're trying to calm down or just be quiet and soft and snuggly.
