Biography

Kathleen Olmstead is the author of several <i>Classic Starts</i> books, including <i>Anne of Avonlea</i> and <i>Moby Dick</i>, as well as <i>Jacques Cousteau: A Life Under the Sea</i> and <i>Matthew Henson: The Quest for the North Pole</i>, both in the <i>Sterling Biographies</i> series. Linda Olafsdottir has a BFA from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts and an MFA in illustration for the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her work has appeared in such publications as <i>Poets and Artists</i> and <i>Creative Quarterly</i>. Linda lives in Reykjavík with her husband and two children.
