As someone who loves Anne of Green Gables, this was a fun board book for our collection. True to BabyLit form, the illustrations are sweet and each page contains a quote to remind you of the original story. My three-year-old daughter has enjoyed using the words in this book to describe places around her, and it's been fun to see her try to find just the right word for a new place (e.g., "Mommy, is this a pond or a lake? I think it's a pond.").
If you're a fan of Anne of Green Gables, you're going to want a copy of this book! The illustrations (as always for BabyLit books) are gorgeous. I loved that this book focused on places in Green Gables. You can just imagine Anne saying all of the beautiful and lyrical descriptions of the places around the island. Just know that this book isn't an overview of the story, but the places from the story from Prince Edward Island.
