“This book is a favorite in our house. The illustrations are darling and it's fun for me as an Austen fan to see how the simple board book story really does loosely follow the plot of the original novel. Beyond the cute pictures, it's been a useful tool for us as well. From the time my daughter was very young, well before she could talk, she learned to make the faces of each of the emotions, which gave her a fun way to participate in the book. As she got a little older, this book helped her to find a word for various emotions and talk about how she was feeling. I love the BabyLit series of board books, but I don't love them all equally; this one is at the top of my list.”
