Diane Namm is the author of several of Sterling’s Classic Starts books, including <i>Phantom of the Opera</i> and <i>Greek Myths</i>, as well as other Silver Penny titles (including <i>Goldilocks and the Three Bears</i> and <i>Jack and the Beanstalk</i>). She lives in Malibu, CA. Linda Olafsdottir has a BFA from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts and an MFA in illustration for the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Her work has appeared in such publications as <i>Poets and Artists</i> and <i>Creative Quarterly</i>. Linda lives in Reykjavík with her husband and two children. Hans Christian Andersen was born in 1805 in Odense, Denmark. Andersen became famous for his collection of 156 fairy tales: his were the most important art fairy tales of the Biedermeier period. He died in 1875 in Copenhagen.
Linda Olafsdottir draws, paints, and writes from her home studio in in Reykjavík, Iceland. She has been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award and received Reykjavík’s Children’s Literature Award in 2016. Play? is her debut book as an author and illustrator.
