How to Read the Bravelands Books
Read the three arcs in publication order: Bravelands, Curse of the Sandtongue, and Thunder on the Plains. Each arc begins again at book #1, so the publisher's numbers are 1–6, then 1–3, then 1–3—not one continuous 1–12 sequence.
Begin with Broken Pride, finish the six-book opening arc with Oathkeeper, then continue with Shadows on the Mountain and finally The Shattered Horn. The casts change between arcs, but the history, rules, and consequences of the same animal world carry forward.
