Sarah L. Thomson is an award-winning author who has published more than thirty books for young readers, including the Secrets of the Seven series, Deadly Flowers, and Dragon’s Egg. Sarah lives in Portland, Maine, with her daughter and her two cats. Her daughter helps with inspiration, and her cats help by lying on the piece of paper she needs most.

Stacia Deutsch is the author of more than fifty children’s books, including the award-winning chapter book series Blast to the Past. She also wrote the tween novel Mean Ghouls, as well as books for the Nancy Drew, Clue Crew, and The Boxcar Children series. Stacia has been on the New York Times Bestseller list for the novelizations of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and The Smurfs movies.

Emma Carlson Berne has written numerous historical and biographical books for children and young adults, as well as young adult fiction. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband and two sons.

Natasha is best known for her “The Night Before” series that’s based on the Christmas classic, The Night Before Christmas. She writes mostly fiction for young children, but has also published narrative non-fiction. “I like finding little known facts about well-known people and sharing them with kids.” Three of her books have been translated into foreign languages. Natasha has been publishing since 1994 and has more stories in the works. She lives with her husband and cat, Purrsia, in Colorado. She collects squished pennies. Her happy place is being at the beach.
