Five Nights At Freddy's Books

Start by picking a line. The original novels begin with The Silver Eyes and follow Charlie through a three-book mystery. Fazbear Frights and Tales from the Pizzaplex are later short-story anthologies. The graphic novels retell stories from those lines and live on their own pages.

Do not read across these lines as if they were books 1 through 20. Each series restarts its numbering. The Silver Eyes is the first original novel in the catalog today; the later trilogy novels are not listed here yet. The Frights and Pizzaplex prose pages are also incomplete, so use them as related lines rather than a full inventory.

These are 12-and-up horror books tied to a game about haunted animatronics. Expect murdered and missing children, stalking, and scares that are meant to linger after the story ends.

The graphic novels are often the easier format for a reluctant reader, but they are not gentler. If a child wants Five Nights without the darkest anthology shorts, the original trilogy graphic novels are the more contained place to start.
