This book doesn't have a quiz. What are my options?

You have three options: request a quiz from us, write one yourself, or admin certify the reading so the student gets credit without a quiz.
| Option | When to use it | How |

| Request a quiz | You can wait a few days. Most requests are ready within 3–5 days, and the finished quiz is then there for every teacher. | See below. |
| Write a quiz | You need it now, or the request is Delayed. Your quiz unlocks for your students as soon as you submit it. | Write the quiz yourself |
| Admin certify | The student clearly read it and you don't need a quiz. | Reading Log → … on the book → Admin certify. See Change a retake date or certify. |
Request a quiz
- Teachers: on your class Overview, click Add Reading, open the Request a quiz tab, pick the student and the book, and submit. Or go to Quizzes → Book Quiz Requests → Request quiz.
- Students: open the book, go to its Quiz tab and click Request quiz.
Either way, the request appears on your Quizzes tab under Book Quiz Requests. To follow it, see Where do I find a quiz I requested?
Some books never get a quiz
Board books, wordless books, box sets, joke books and reference or activity books aren't quizzed. Their Quiz tab says "This book does not support a quiz." For those, admin certify the reading.
