How do I cancel my subscription?

Email support@bookroo.com with your order number, or the name and email on your account, and we'll cancel it. To skip this month's box, write before 11:59 PM Pacific on the 15th.
When to write
| You write | What happens |

| By 11:59 PM Pacific on the 15th | No more boxes. If your renewal was charged that day, it's refunded in full. |
| After 11:59 PM Pacific on the 15th | That month's box is already being packed. It ships, it isn't refunded, and it's your last. |
Multi-month plans
If you paid for 3, 6 or 12 months, you can either keep the boxes you've paid for and just stop the renewal, or cancel the remaining boxes for a pro-rated refund. For the refund, write by 11:59 PM Pacific on the 10th of the month the next box ships. The refund leaves out promotional and multi-month discounts.
Gifts
A one-time gift (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) can't be cancelled; it ends on its own after the last box. A renewing gift subscription is cancelled like any other subscription, by the giver.
Returns
Boxes can't be returned or exchanged, with two exceptions:
- Your first box: if it isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of it shipping. We'll send return instructions and refund the box, less shipping, once it's back.
- A damaged or wrong book: see A book arrived damaged.
