Why are my students showing up as my own readers?

Issue: Students appear under Your readers on your dashboard, or in Account → Reading Profile, instead of in your class.

Why it happens

One Bookroo account can hold both a class and a household:

• Your readers are your own reading profiles (you, or your own children). They live in your account.
• Class students live on a class Roster and belong to the class, not to you.

Students added as readers on your account are only visible to you. They aren't in any class.

Fix

1. Add the students to your class properly: Add students.
2. Remove the extra readers from your account: click your profile image → Account → Reading Profile → the pencil (Edit reader) → Delete. Type DELETE to confirm.

Removing a personal reader never touches a class roster.
